Our commitment to you...

Health and Wellness Focus

Health benefits derived from using a sauna greatly contribute towards feeling relaxed, stress relieved, improved circulation, and other wellness aspects.

Studies from a variety of accepted published scientific papers, regarding the health benefits of sauna activity, support the health and wellbeing benefits of using your sauna on a regular basis.

Two well practised ways to use the sauna…

Firstly, having the temperature set to a gentle setting that provides warmth throughout your body, but not too high as to make you sweat.  With calming ambient music playing in the background and lights down low, gently increase the temperature to help sooth aching muscles and fatigue.  Adding aromatherapy to your sauna will further inspire your senses too, leaving you with an overwhelming feeling of wellbeing.

Second, would be to maximise your body’s natural ability to sweat and detoxify.  This is done by moving from a lower bench level to a higher position whilst the heat setting is set to a tolerable grade. Water can also be applied to increase the overall humidity and pressure within the sauna, used alongside essential oils, will create an atmosphere like no other and allow your skin to absorb the essences of the oils within the steamed rich air.

Environment Responsibility

As a diligent business, we strive to become more eco-friendly across every build we undertake.  Following trusted practices such as working efficiently, reducing waste, using sustainable materials and installing low energy-efficient designs in our heaters and insulation products.

We also employ other environmentally friendly approaches like the use of screw pile foundations instead of concrete.  Screw pile foundations can be installed in as little as one day, disturb little or no ground, and avoid roots and underground services.  They can also withstand enormous pressures and movement, and be built upon on the same day after testing.  With little or no disturbance, a more precise and long standing build is achieved, even over unlevelled surfaces.

Although being firmly fixed in place, screw pile foundations can be easily removed without damage should you have need to relocate your cabin to another place.

Caring for your build and the environment we build upon…

Reduced Risk of Respiratory Diseases

Research in the European Journal of Epidemiology (2017) indicated that frequent sauna bathing might be associated with a reduced risk of respiratory diseases, particularly in middle-aged and older individuals.

Enhanced Lung Function

Although not specific to saunas, a study published in the European Respiratory Journal (2016) found that regular exposure to high temperatures, such as those experienced in saunas, could have positive effects on lung function. The study suggested that sauna-like conditions might contribute to improvements in pulmonary function.

Symptomatic Relief in Respiratory Conditions

Sauna use has been explored for its potential to provide symptomatic relief in conditions like chronic bronchitis. While not a cure, some individuals with chronic respiratory conditions have reported feeling better after sauna sessions.

Remember to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating sauna use into your regular routine if you have pre-existing health conditions.  Additionally, it's essential to consider the specific conditions and parameters of sauna use in each study, as variations may exist. For the latest research, you should always check alternative databases or consult additional scientific journals recommended by your doctor.
